* Members of the Japan Intense Light Field Science Society (JILS), the Optical Society (OSA), the European Physical Society (EPS), the Chemical Society of Japan (CSJ), the Physical Society of Japan (JPS), the Japan Society of Applied Physics (JSAP), the Laser Society of Japan (LSJ), and the Spectroscopical Society of Japan (SPSJ) are eligible to attend UP2014 at a member participant rate.
** The deadline closes at 17:00 JST (8:00 GMT) on May 31, 2014.
The registration fee entitles you to a book of abstract, a name badge, and a conference bag.
The registration fee is nonrefundable regardless of circumstances.
Accompanying persons
The registration fee for accompanying persons who wish to attend the social functions of the conference will be as follows. This fee is only payable on site. Please note that an abstract book will not be provided to a participant registering as an accompanying person.

Payment
Online payment can only be made by credit card (Visa Card, Master Card, or UC Card) in Japanese yen (JPY). The conversion rate by which the registration fee will be charged on your credit card in your own currency will change according to the time of your registration.

Registration on site
If you miss the deadline for online registration, your payment can only be made in cash (at the On-site Registration rate) at the registration desk on-site. Please note that we will not accept credit card payment for on-site registrations.

Passport and visa requirements
Foreign visitors entering Japan must be in possession of a valid passport.
Delegates from countries requiring visas should apply to the Japanese consular offices in their home countries. If you require a letter of invitation to include with your visa application please contact us with your registration number at: up2014@chem.s.u-tokyo.ac.jp
